About Matthew
I know what it is to lose your way—and come back.
Warm coaching. Direct expectations. Plain English from somebody living the same real life.
The turning point
One day I stopped pretending it was fine.
I had always been into training, especially in the weight room. Then I slipped. Partying, not caring about the future, and letting myself go caught up with me. I woke up unhealthy and obese. I decided I needed to change.
I rebuilt through resistance training, better choices, and work I could measure. Years later, stress knocked me back again. Having a daughter showed me how much I have to live for—and why balance matters more than pretending life is perfect.
“I have always been into training especially in the weight room. After starting to date my wife, I started to slip and let myself go. I was living a young life of partying and not caring about the future. I literally woke up one day and decided i needed to change because I was unhealthy and obese.”— Matthew Stephens
How I coach
Direct enough to move you. Human enough to last.
I coach with progressive resistance work, added cardio, and honest accountability. No fitness language you have to decode. No plan that assumes your shifts, stress, or family disappear.
That carries beyond the gym. I want you strong enough for long days, steep ground, and the people waiting for you at home. The plan meets the elements of real life and keeps moving.
